About
With over 25 years’ leadership in the music industry, I combine senior experience, lived experience and academic research to deliver practical, evidence-based solutions. I am Past President of the Independent Society of Musicians and former CEO of the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors (now The Ivors Academy). I hold an MBA from Henley Business School and am completing a PhD at Queen Mary University of London on women’s careers in the music industry. This gives me particular expertise in EDI, music careers and organisational change.

Ongoing Consultancy: Partnerships that give organisations regular access to research and EDI expertise. Current clients include Counterculture and IMPALA.
Sector Leadership
I founded The F-List for Music CIC, a not-for-profit organisation supporting women and gender-diverse musicians across the UK, and I advise a number of music industry boards and collectives. I have judged the BRIT Awards, Music Week Awards, Women in Music Awards and the Making Music Diversity Award, and have advised the Leeds International Piano Competition.
