Accessibility statement
I want everyone to be able to use this website, including disabled people and people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers or voice control.
What I am working towards
I aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This is the recognised international standard for accessible websites.
How accessible this website is
This website is partially accessible. I have recently improved the homepage, including its heading structure, image descriptions and colour contrast. However, I know some parts of the site do not yet fully meet the standard. For example:
- some images on older pages may not have text descriptions
- some older pages may not have a clear heading structure
- some documents, such as PDFs, may not be fully accessible to screen reader users
- some videos in the MCC courses may not have captions or transcripts
I am working to fix these issues as I update the site.
If you have difficulty using this website
If you cannot access any part of this website, or you need information in a different format (such as large print, plain text or an accessible document), please contact me on my contact form: Contact page
Please tell me which page or content you had difficulty with, and the format you need. I will reply as soon as I can.
Reporting accessibility problems
If you find a problem that is not listed on this page, I would be grateful if you could let me know using the contact details above, so that I can fix it.
